I had my second USASA comp at Breck this past weekend and it was a lot of fun. To start off they had an awesome setup in Park Lane. It included three jumps with perfect takeoffs and landings. They also had four different jibs, but you could only trick off two of them. Well, I had a good line picked out but I wasn’t feeling real confident after the practice session, so, I went to my backup run. My first run didn’t even go very well and I was feeling a little upset and nervous. After lapping through upper Park Lane a couple times I came back down to the starting gate and they were waving me in to the gate to drop, and before I knew it I was already nailing my line through the jumps. That was probably a good thing because I didn’t have time to think about the worst things that could happen. At the end of the day there was a raffle for prizes and I ended up with a hoody, cap, glove liners, and shred flick. All in all I had an awesome time at my USASA last weekend.
