I’ve never had the experience before to go shredding in June, and today I got to do that, and if I had to describe it in one word it would be: AWESOME!!
At first I didn’t think I wanted to go because I thought it would be a waste of time, but, I stand corrected. We went with my friend Taylor, one of the managers for SFC, he has a bunch of cool cameras and stuff. The only feature we hit was jump number four because it was the only jump that was still in good shape and had a good long run in. Taylor and my dad got some good shots of me. We also got to do an interview that is definitely going to be great for an edit.
We were NOT the only ones hitting it either. There was some other Breck locals hiking and putting out some good vibes. Also spotted some local wildlife including a mother fox and at least three fox kittens sunbathing near the alpine slide.
After the shred we went to Frisco skatepark, which was fun after a long day of hiking and jumping. At Frisco I learned to boardslides on that long ground rail they have there. The setting at Frisco is really pretty and the weather was just perfect for a good fun session.
That’s a wrap! To sum it up, today I got to go shredding in June and I’m glad I went!!
